The Langara Supervisor will connect with the school contacts shared with us from our district partners. This may be a principal, vice-principal, resource teacher, or classroom teacher. ​
We ask that the school contacts share the introductory emails from the Langara supervisor with the school team supporting the Langara student. The introductory emails contain information about Langara Guidelines and Evaluation, roles & responsibilities, contact information, and visitation(s)​.
The Langara Supervisor will visit at least twice during the practicum and that visitation may or may not coincide with the Midpoint and Final Evaluations. ​
If the practicum school would like the Langara supervisor present at the school for the midpoint and/or final evaluation, every effort will be made by the Langara supervisor to attend.​
The Langara Supervisor will gather feedback from the school team, observe the student and debrief the observation with the student. Langara students receive visitation notes after the visit. ​
The Langara Supervisor collaborates with all team members and connects with the school supervisor at each visit if possible.
