• Based on team observations from the first week of practicum and domain areas within the Langara Evaluation, opportunities to practice specific skills can be set up for the EA student if needed (domains include; Supporting Behavior, Communication, Learning, Personal Care, Inclusion & Diversity, Reflection and Teamwork)​.
  • Provide the EA student with frequent constructive feedback and suggestions. â€‹
  • Consider a time or activity during the block or school day that the student could focus on particular skills.
  • Give the EA student some specific skills to work towards prior to the work commencing with the focus student.
  • Model skills if necessary and then let the EA student try.
  • Fade support over time and provide feedback.Â
